MANILA – Metro Magazine features in its August issue actress-model Maricar Reyes, who was involved in a sex video scandal with ex-boyfriend Hayden Kho.
The magazine focuses on the other side of Reyes, her life as a doctor, athlete and as the youngest in her family.
In the article, Reyes said she considers herself a survivor and a "fighter".
"I think everyone should aim to be a survivor, everyone should think of themselves as fighters…The only thing to do is to fight and rise above it," she told the magazine.
Save for limited television appearances, Reyes has shunned the public eye since the sex scandal broke out.
The 27-year-old model said that although she is not yet used to intrigues and public attention, she has her own way of facing them.
