On the tell-all of Kris Aquino with Boy Abunda on "SNN" (Showbiz News Ngayon), the Queen of All Media dismissed issues linking her to Coco and hinted that the actor is in fact courting Erich.

Coco meanwhile cleared the news during the press conference of his upcoming movie with Star Cinema, Sa ‘Yo Lamang.

“Hindi totoo yun, walang nangyaring ganun,” he said.

Coco admitted that he and Erich are good friends but there’s nothing romantically happening between them.

Coco said with his busy schedule, he doesn’t have time to court someone.

Erich, for her part, refuse to comment on the issue when pressed by entertainment reporters.

She though said there are times when they exchange text messages.

Poe says she doesn’t give a categorical answer when asked about it because the matter is personal and not part of her showbiz career at all.

“I’m used to people throwing rocks at me,” she said at a recent presscon. “I don’t really mind na lang what people say as long as those who are close to me know who I really am.”

If anything, Poe admits Singson is a “friend,” and that she will always be there to support him.

The congressman is currently in house detention in Hong Kong, stemming from a drug-related case.

The 41-year old was allegedly caught with several grams of cocaine and several pieces of Valium while entering the former British colony, July 11.

Poe, together with the congressman’s father, political kingpin Chavit Singson, flew to Hong Kong to offer support when Singson’s case was arraigned.

“He is doing okay. I’m happy that he’s strong,” said she when asked about her rumored boyfriend’s condition.

Asked if she thinks the recent hostage drama involving Hong Kong nationals would affect the case of her “friend,” Poe quipped, “I hope not.”

“I’m hoping, and hindi naman siguro makitid ang utak ng mga tao na magdya-judge dun sa case niya.”

“Let’s burn the bridge when the bridge is there,” Ryan joked when asked about the possibility.

The animosity between Ryan and Piolo allegedly involved the former’s wife and the latter’s perennial leading lady for some time, Judy Ann Santos. And although the two had reconciled in 2008, Ryan said that if they do co-star, it has to be "the right material…dapat lahat tama…tingnan natin what will happen kung tatanggapin o hindi.”

For now, Ryan would rather concentrate on "what is" rather than "what could be." One of these is a TV series that requires him to play a drag queen.

“Isa siyang tatay na gagawin ang lahat," he said of his character. "Napasok lang siya doon dahil sa circumstances na napasukan ng pamilya niya.”

As for his character evaluation, Ryan said he didn’t go for the usual process.

The TV host-turned actor made sure his wife, actress Judy Ann Santos and their daughter, Yohan, saw him in drag.

“The first time we had a make-up test, we made sure na dumating si Juday at si Yohan at nakita naman nila. Si Yohan natawa. ‘Yung misis ko, na-shock kasi make-up artist niya [Juan Sarte] ang gamit ko.

"Ang iniisip ko na lang is how my five year old daughter would take to seeing her father in drag at such a young age. ‘Yun lang ang wino-worry ko pero sinigurado ko naman na kita nila pati ‘yung rehearsals ng sayaw.”

According to reports, the two decided to end their romance after Anderson was linked to actress Bea Alonzo.

In a press conference for their latest endorsement, Chowking, Anderson and Chiu evaded the issue by turning their backs to the entertainment media.

After the press conference, the two were pulled out by their road managers and led into another room.

The media patiently waited outside until they finally came out of the room.

It was only "TV Patrol" and abs-cbnNEWS.com who got their short reaction.

"Magka-away kami. Magka-away kami," Anderson said while Chiu just smiled and didn’t say anything.

It was just last month when a report surfaced that the two already broke up. Anderson was said to be already courting Alonzo, who allegedly became closer to the actor after a concert series abroad.

In a recent interview, Alonzo spoke on the controversial report linking her romantically to Anderson.

"Bakit ako ang sasagot niyan? Hindi naman ako po ang dapat sasagot niyan," Alonzo said.

Alonzo, who is very busy with a lot of showbiz projects, said she’s not aware of news linking her to Anderson.

"Alam mo hindi kasi ako ganoon ka-aware at saka hindi ko din gustong maging ganoong ka-aware, kasi nga ang daming magandang nangyayari sa akin. Gusto kong namnamin ang magagandang nangyayari sa akin kaysa doon sa mga negative issues," the actress said.

Alonzo also expressed her feelings on the alleged "hate campaign" launched by the solid fans of Anderson and his longtime on-screen partner Kim Chiu.

"Siyempre nakakalungkot na hindi ka gusto. Pero ang masasabi ko lang, wala akong ginagawa at wala akong dapat ikabahala sa point of view ko lang po," Alonzo said.

Asked if she is in love right now, the actress replied: "Lagi po akong nagmamahal. Marami po akong minamahal at sang-ayon ay minamahal ko ang sarili ko higit sa lahat."

Right now, Alonzo is just happy with all the blessings she’s receiving.

The 31-year old actress said so in a tab report, adding that she will file either a libel or slander case against Angelica, who allegedly told people that she [Claudine] is having an extra-marital affair with actor Derek Ramsay’s best friend.

In previous interviews, Claudine neither confirmed nor denied the rumored rift between her and Angelica, whom she allegedly tweeted on Twitter. Before, Claudine went only as far to admit that she got “hurt” by what happened between them.

However, in an article published by a local daily on Aug. 26, Claudine said the situation has gotten “out of hand,” and that the rumors Angelica allegedly spread have caused her fights with husband Raymart Santiago.

Claudine added that Angelica spun the yarn “because she fought with my Ate,” pertaining to the word war between Angelica and Gretchen Barretto a few months back.

Later, Angelica apologized to Gretchen and since then they have become each other’s “new friend.”

Claudine believes Angelica could’ve–should’ve–done the same to her but she didn’t.

“Angelica never reached out to me. She felt no remorse… she denied that she ever said it (rumor). But a number of friends are willing to testify in court that she did. I’m not going into this unprepared.”

Claudine added that Derek has apologized to her and Raymart on Angelica’s behalf. She didn’t accept it, though, because “Derek wasn’t the traitor.”

Claudine enumerated the numerous instances that proved her support and love for Angelica.

“My family trusted and welcomed [her] into our home. I myself have known Angelica since she was 9. I took care of her [when she started out in the biz]. She was there when Raymart and I got married. She was there when Sabina and Santino (Claudine and Raymart’s kids) were christened. We invited her to our birthday celebrations,” she related.

Crawford, who is fondly called Billy Joe, will celebrate his 25th year in show business via a major concert dubbed “25 B.C.” The concert will be held on September 11, 18 and 25 at the Music Museum.

“Parang recap of everything that I’d been through. ‘Yong mga nakasama ko, ‘yong mga kanta nila kakantahin ko. Yong mga inspirations ko sila Kuya Gary V (Valenciano), sila Michael Jackson ganoon,” Crawford said.

Willie is indisposed. Even the closest of his media coordinators are clueless (as of this writing) whether indeed, he has signed a multi-million peso deal with the network owned by Manny Pangilinan. The drumbeaters of TV5 are just as clueless.

While some went on record to deny there ever was any negotiation, some were wiser to say that on their level, they have no knowledge of such. But the others chose to say “no comment” which bolstered our belief that maybe the news was really true because it will be easier to say “no” than “no comment.”

Add it to the fact that we luckily came across some advertising people recently who confirmed that indeed, TV5 has been making the “sale” already of a Willie Revillame show on primetime TV.

Willie’s “Wowowee” franchise is owned by ABS-CBN that is why he cannot bring that name with him for his new show in his new network. But trust Willie to come up with another title, presumably bearing his name again, to signal his return.

And we also know that he will be bringing with him most of his loyal staff from “Wowowee” especially those who are not legally bound to stay in ABS-CBN. I remember he said this during his press conference, too, recently where he announced his desire to rescind the contract with ABS-CBN for the latter’s failure to make good its promise to resume his hosting chores for “Wowowee” supposedly on July 31, 2010.

For a while, we really thought Willie was transferring to GMA-7. We were privy to the “exclusive interview” arrangement which happened there just last week where he requested to be interviewed by Mike Enriquez and Mel Tiangco, coupled with a live patch with “24 Oras” show biz anchor Pia Guanio.

Those in the know were one in asking, why else would GMA-7 agree to an interview arrangement like this if Willie was not signing up with them? That’s why when news broke out about TV5, we were skeptical.

It has been said that Willie’s new show will premiere in October. I guess we just have to wait and see what happens.

"Nagkasakitan tayo, nasaktan kita, nasaktan din ako sa mga nangyari. Pasensya na, kuya," Pokwang said in an interview in ABS-CBN celebrity talk show "The Buzz" on Sunday.

She added, "Isa lang talaga ang wish ko — na mawala na ang lahat ng ito. Gusto ko ‘yong maka-move on na ako nang maayos, makatrabaho na ako nang maayos at wala na akong marinig na mga paratang. Alam kong napakaliit ng industriyang ito (at) one day magkakaharap din kami."

An ABS-CBN official earlier disclosed that Revillame wanted Pokwang and Mariel Rodriguez axed from "Wowowee" as a precondition for his return.

The controversial host left the show and was on indefinite leave after he asked network executives to fire fellow Kapamilya talent Jobert Sucaldito for his alleged criticisms of "Wowowee."

Pokwang, who previously denied that Revillame wanted her to be removed from "Wowowee" due to her political leanings, admitted that she was hurt when the said report came out. She stressed, however, that he never had anything against her former co-host.

"Siyempre po nagulat ako kasi ginagawa lang namin ‘yung trabaho (namin.) Saka sa dami po ng mga mas maliliit na sweldo sa amin sa ‘Wowowee,’ mas kailangan po nila ang trabaho talaga," said Pokwang, who has hosted "Wowowee" for 3 years.

Pokwang is currently one of the hosts of "Pilipinas Win na Win," the game variety show that replaced "Wowowee."

Revillame, meanwhile, is determined to leave ABS-CBN despite his contract obligations, claiming unfair treatment from the network.

In particular, the former "Wowowee" host insists that there was an agreement between him and the ABS-CBN management that he’d go back to the noontime show on July 31, something that the network denied.

Popularity got to her head?

Pokwang became emotional when she shared how her mother’s health was greatly affected by negative reports about her.

Pokwang was particularly referring to reports that fame already got to her head, something that she strongly denied.

"Dumating po ang panahon na ilang araw namin siyang tinatakbo sa ospital (kasi) tumataas po ang dugo niya…Hanggang sa magsalita sa amin ang aming kasambahay na na-open ng nanay ko sa kanya ang problema na ‘yon nga, nakakarinig siya ng mga (negative issues) tungkol sa akin," Pokwang shared.

She continued, "Sabi ko sa kanya, ‘Ma, ikaw ang nanay ko. Ikaw ang nagluwal sa akin, mas ikaw ang nakakakilala kung sino talaga ako…Mas ikaw ang nakakakilala sa akin kaya ikaw ang nasasaktan.’"

Asked about rumors that she was ungrateful to Revillame for giving her the opportunity to host "Wowowee" which shot her to fame, Pokwang said, "Marunong po akong tumanaw ng utang na loob, kaya lang magsalita man ako o hindi, isa lang ang husga sa akin ng malapit sa kanya (Revillame)."

Meanwhile, she appealed to the entertainment press to spare her family from the negative issues.

"Sa mga tumitira sa akin, wala akong ginawang masama sa inyo. Sa pagkakaalam ko, nakatulong pa ako kahit paano sa kanila. Kung kinakailangang tulungan ko sila sa darating na panahon, hindi ako magdadalawang-isip na tulungan sila. Ang sa akin lang, huwag ninyo na lang saktan ang pamilya ko, tama na po, ‘yon lang," Pokwang said.

Padilla said sorry after reports came out that the action star has been neglecting their 4 children — Roselle Elizabeth, Kylie Nicole, Sherileen Zel and Ali – lately due to his rumored girlfriend Mariel Rodriguez. This reportedly irked Sicangco.

In his official statement sent to “The Buzz,” Padilla said he will personally talk to his children, who are now in his custody, to convince them to join their mother in Australia.

He also apologized to them for his shortcomings.

“Ang Ramadan ay buwan ng pag-aayuno, pagpapatawad at pagmamahal… ako ay nakikiisa sa Islam sa pagbibigay halaga sa mga ina. Sapagkat ang paraiso ay nasa paanan lamang ng mga ina, kaya’t ako mismo ang kakausap sa aking mga anak na umuwi na sa kanilang ina. Kung ako man ay may pagkukulang bilang ama, ako’y mapatawad ng Allah, ni Liezl at ng mga bata,” Padilla said.

Last week, Rodriguez broke her silence on the issue. She said she respects Sicangco’s sentiments as a mother.

“Karapatan niya ‘yon. She’s a mother. She really has to take care and protect her kids,” Rodriguez said.

Padilla met Rodriguez when he became the first guest host of defunct hit noontime show “Wowowee” for 2 weeks.

Rodriguez has recently split from actor Zanjoe Marudo. Padilla’s marriage to Sicangco, meantime, ended in divorce 2 years ago.

“You can make a mistake once but in this situation there was a second time. So to say that it was orchestrated by James is not correct. The parties were really in good faith,” said James’ lawyer, Lorna Kapunan, at a press conference held Aug. 16.

Kris and James are said to have tied the knot through a lady minister identified in an online report as a Rayda P. Tumaliuan of the Holy Sacrament International Church. Tumaliuan is said to have also officiated the second civil ceremony two weeks later, on July 10, 2005.

The online report added the two had to exchange vows for the second time because James was unable to secure parental consent during the first. Atty. Kapunan said it’s prerequisite if the marrying individual is between 21 to 25 years of age. James was 23 when he wed Kris.

Just last Aug. 9, Kris filed a petition for the Declaration of Nullity of Marriage at the Makati Regional Trial Court Branch 140. The main ground for the repetition is the “lack of authority of the solemnizing officer,” as minister Tumaliuan came from a religious sector that the couple doesn’t belong to.

As stated in the Family Code, it should be that “at least one of the contracting parties belongs to the solemnizing officer’s church or religious sect.” Kris and James are both Roman Catholics.

The cager’s camp refuted speculations that he refuses to sign the separation papers because he is after Kris’ money.

“I asked him: ‘Are you here because you want money from Kris?’ I think the question itself is insulting,” Atty. Kapunan said.

Truth is, as James admits, he still loves his wife.

“Hindi naman basta-basta nawawala ‘yong love, nandoon pa rin ‘yon eh. Di rin naman natin maipipilit kung ayaw na sa ‘yo,” he related.

For now though, what James really wants is to be able to see their son Baby James. He, together with Atty. Kapunan, filed on Monday the Motion for Provisional Award of Visitation Rights at the Makati RTC.

James’ camp decided to file the motion after Kris allegedly prohibited the PBA player from seeing Bimby while their annulment case is ongoing. He said the last time he saw Bimby was on July 30, after he, half-brother Joshua and mom Kris arrived from the US. However, “hindi kami masyadong nakapag-bonding dahil may jetlag siya.”

“After that (meeting), naka-receive na ako ng text ni Kris na, ‘Hindi mo muna pwedeng makita si Baby James hangga’t hindi pa natatapos ‘yong kaso natin,’” related James.

He even tried to contact Bimby’s yaya. “Akala ko baka nasa walang signal lang so tinatawagan ko parati pero off na ‘yong phone,” he said.

James requested the court via the motion to be able to see his son twice a week, as well as for Bimby to be allowed to spend nights with him, and go with him to his province, Negros Occidental, where his parents live.

In a text message sent to ABS-CBN, Kris is said to have been surprised that James and his lawyer called for a presscon even after she had already allowed him to see their three-year old boy.

“You know I texted James last night around 7 pm complete with schedule of when Bimby was okay this week because I realized that our differences shouldn’t affect Bimby adversely, and I should be true to what I said in ‘[The] Buzz.’ I didn’t hear back from him. That’s the truth,” the actress’s message read.

James’ camp is aware of this.

“Although we are told by James that he received text message from Kris saying that she is open to a visitation, it cannot be under her terms because you cannot set a schedule, and a deadline, and a venue. The father should be allowed to freely visit a child,” maintained Atty. Kapunan.

Apart from the separation, James also does not agree with Kris’ petition of having Bimby’s sole custody. But what seemed to have hurt him more is her request to drop Yap as Bimby’s surname.

“Gusto niyang ibahin ang pangalan ni Baby James. Tanggalin niya ‘yung Yap gusto niyang palitan ng Aquino. As a father, talagang hindi puwede ‘yon. Siyempre diba, anak ko ‘yon eh,” he said.

Such petition poses a peril on Bimby’s part, Atty. Kapunan said.

“He (James) will fight anything that is filed to declare his son as illegitimate, [because] that is the effect of the petition.”

James’ camp said it’s the last time they will speak about the issue, and they plead for Kris to do the same.
